Stichting Vluchteling helps in the world’s most severe humanitarian crises. In acute emergencies, they provide life-saving medical care, shelter, food, and clean drinking water. Stichting Vluchteling focuses specifically on the chronically ill and people in hard-to-reach areas. They also provide support during long-term crises, providing education and psychosocial support.
Oxfam Novib is working towards a world that is inclusive, safe, just, and sustainable. They fight for a world in which everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of gender, background, or skin color. A world that is safe for everyone; where the income gap shrinks instead of widening; where climate change is tackled more forcefully and fairly.
80% of all children with a disability live in the poorest parts of the world. Poverty is the primary cause of disability, and conversely, disability leads to more extreme poverty. It is a vicious circle. Liliane Fonds breaks this vicious circle by empowering children with a disability and their parents.
